About the 103rd
What Do We Do?
As a cadet programs-based squadron, the 103rd Composite Squadron offers youth between the ages of 12 and 18 a variety of incredible opportunities, from firing .22 rifles at a range to free orientation flights in our Cessna 172 aircraft to learning the critical fundamentals of leadership. The 103rd Composite Squadron has opportunities for everyone, and we strive to develop every cadet into the best version of themselves that they can be.
How Do I Get Involved?
To join our squadron, send our squadron commander an email, or fill out the form on the Contact Us page! After that, we'll set up a night for you to come shadow our squadron so you can get a perspective of what our squadron is like. Your prospective cadet will be introduced to the basics of what Civil Air Patrol is, meet with our staff, and experience what a typical squadron meeting is like. After shadowing for three weeks, you will be asked to come to the squadron and fill out the needed paperwork to have your prospective cadet officially join the squadron!
